Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is pleased with fullback Marcos Angeleri's form in training.

The Argentinian has struggled to establish himself in the first-team picture since moving from Estudiantes in the summer.

But Bruce told safc.com: 'The one thing I've always said is it takes the South American lads time. It's the first time two of them have seen snow today.

'They're adapting. Certainly Angeleri has shown us what he's all about during the last couple of weeks.

'He hurt his knee playing against Benfica in pre-season and that put the collywobbles up him a bit.
