Can You Not Sing Rock'n'Roll in Finnish???

I have just been sent a link to a song that turned out to be a rock'n'roll number in Finnish performed by teenagers. Now, there is a perception that certain languages don't sit well with certain music styles. I read somewhere that the reason why France never quite got into the rock and rock'n'roll scene was precisely this: apparently, French language and American music don't quite get on. So, how about watching this comic piece that is sung in the language only a few people understand (obviously, compared to all those who can understand English)? I wonder if Finnish sits any better with the American style.

The film itself is a comedy, Isaskar Keturin ihmeelliset seikkailut (1960), based on short stories by Erkke-Mikael Salmi. I will be frank with you, especially my Finnish readers: my knowledge of Finnish culture goes very little beyond the Kalevala epic. I know a handful of Finnish actors, especially those who are making films in Russia today, plus a fair bit of Finnish history, but the names of Salmi or the film based on his stories ring no bells. What I fetched from the Finnish Wiki, with the help of Google Translate, tells us that the movie is a series of adventures of a salesman whose intrepid nature makes him dip his toes into various situations: he sells vacuum cleaners, looks after kids, paints a hotel, and even protects the daughters of some big man. The scene in the video must be the one where the salesman is looking after rock'n'roll kids...
